[Hiring] Video Content Creator @LANDR

Role Description

We're looking for a Video Content Creator to make engaging content for LANDR's social media. You’ll film and edit, and also be one of the faces and voices of the content! We are looking for someone to bring a pop culture instinct, a working knowledge of music production, and the ability to explain things the way a friend would, not the way a brand would.

This is a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension, focused on growing our reach with emerging artists and music creators. This position is remote and open to candidates regardless of location.

What you'll do

• Create and feature on short-form vertical videos for TikTok, Instagram, YT Shorts, etc.
• Create and feature on long-form video walkthroughs
• Pitch video ideas rooted in what's happening in music and pop culture right now, including trends, sounds, releases, and conversations artists are having
• Write or adapt your own scripts and hooks, keeping them tight, jargon-free, and native to each platform
• Collaborate with our social, design, and video teams, on shoot planning and editing notes
• Review performance with the Organic team at LANDR, and use what works to shape the next round of content
• Stay on top of platform trends and formats, and bring new ideas to test

Qualifications

• On-camera experience as a creator, host, or presenter, with a portfolio or channel we can look at
• A strong, natural presence on camera. You can hold attention in the first three seconds and keep it
• A working knowledge of music production and the modern artist workflow (DAWs, mixing and mastering basics, releasing music independently)
• A sharp ear for pop culture and a real feel for what's resonating with young music creators
• Fluency in TikTok and Instagram Reels culture: hooks, pacing, trends, and what makes people stop scrolling
• The ability to simplify technical ideas without dumbing them down
• Excellent spoken and written English

Requirements

• Submit a short test video along with your application.
• Deliverable: one 30–45 second vertical video, in English, in the style of "LANDR Can Do That?", focusing on one underused feature and the problem it solves.
• Pick something from landr.com you find interesting or useful and explain it to the camera in a friendly manner, avoiding jargon.
• A phone camera is fine.
• Send it as a link (unlisted YouTube, Google Drive, whatever's easiest) or as a file below.
