Role Description
- Plan and develop a wide range of software-related information products, including guides, tutorials, web-based help systems, and specifications.
- Create clear, concise, and user-oriented documentation.
- Research, write, proofread, edit, and potentially translate end-user manuals and online help.
- Design screenshots and illustrations using graphic tools.
- Assist in the design and maintenance of documentation templates and contribute to the development of team tools.
Qualifications
- Experience creating documentation for software or technical products, tailored to different audiences (e.g., end users, system administrators, IT managers).
- Familiarity with content management and authoring tools, such as MadCap Flare.
- Understanding of XML, HTML, and standard documentation formats.
- Ability to create clear, high-quality visuals using tools like Microsoft Visio.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams (e.g., developers, UX, QA, product managers).
- Understanding of usability and user experience (UX) principles in documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- A proactive approach with a willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
