Role Description
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Technical Content Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality technical documentation that supports our teams and enhances user experience.
- Research, write, edit, and develop support readiness materials, including training modules, knowledge base articles, and other related documentation.
- Manage the content production process to ensure timely delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Create clear and concise technical documentation tailored for support advocates and engineers.
- Regularly review and update existing content to maintain accuracy, relevance, and quality.
- Continuously improve content items through scrubbing and optimization to enhance clarity and usability.
- Collaborate with various Lines of Business (LOB) to gather and integrate content requirements.
- Attend LOB meetings to align content strategies with business needs and objectives.
- Conduct publishing quality checks to ensure all content meets specified standards before dissemination.
- Generate volume reports to track content production and consumption metrics.
- Assist in designing and improving the Style Guide based on project requirements.
- Perform editorial reviews as needed to maintain content consistency and clarity.
- Work with documentation peers to advance documentation standards and best practices.
- Explore and utilize AI tools or other methodologies to enhance the efficiency of content creation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in content management, preferably in a technical support environment.
- Strong proficiency in research, writing, editing, and content development processes.
- Excellent technical writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Ability to maintain and enhance content quality through continuous review and improvement.
- Experience in content scrubbing to ensure accuracy, relevance, and readability.
- Understanding of Line of Business (LOB) content coordination processes.
- Willingness to attend and actively participate in LOB meetings to align with content needs.
- Familiarity with publishing quality checks to ensure adherence to specified content standards.
- Proficiency in generating and analyzing volume reports to monitor content production and usage.
- Ability to collaborate with teams to refine and implement style guides.
- Editorial review expertise to maintain consistency across documentation projects.
- Experience leveraging AI tools or automation techniques to improve content efficiency.
