Role Description
This role involves leading proposal development and ensuring adherence to organizational standards.
- Develop and implement best practices for proposal development
- Participate in Sales Management meetings to ensure accuracy and consistency of client-facing new business pieces
- Oversee the entire proposal lifecycle, from planning and strategy to writing, editing, and submission
- Manage Loopio, the RFP and proposal writing software, ensuring templates and repositories are up to date
- Coordinate with business development, the Director of Solutions Consulting, technical, and subject matter experts to gather necessary information and develop proposal content
- Assist with PowerPoint templates and content strategy for onsite visits as needed
- Develop and execute proposal strategies that align with organizational goals and client requirements
- Analyze proposal requirements and develop detailed plans to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Review and edit proposal content for clarity, accuracy, and compliance with client specifications and RFP requirements
- Ensure proposals are reviewed and approved by all relevant stakeholders before submission
- Ensure multiproduct proposals are accurately reflected and branding is consistent
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposal process
- Maintain and update proposal templates, content libraries, and tools to streamline proposal development
- Act as the primary point of contact for proposal-related inquiries and communications with clients and stakeholders
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and tailor proposals to address specific requirements
- Interview and outline all case studies and submit for final editing to marketing
- Manage a list of customer references for each product line and liaise with Client Success for enhancement and best practice
- Manage proposal budgets, including estimating resource requirements and tracking expenses
- Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely and high-quality proposal submissions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in proposal management or a related field
- Proven track record of managing complex proposals and leading proposal teams
- Strong understanding of proposal processes, including compliance, writing, and editing
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously
- Proficiency in proposal management software and tools
Requirements
- The base salary range for this role is $90,000 — $115,000 USD. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location
