Role Description

The Regional Vice President of Sales at Liaison is a crucial position responsible for overseeing and leading part of the Associate Vice Presidents who are responsible for sales.

Strategize, develop, and execute sales plans with the VP and initiatives to drive growth and establish a strong presence in the market.
Directly manage 6 Associate Vice Presidents responsible for either graduate or undergraduate sales.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, educational institutions, and other stakeholders.
Ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer support, to align strategies and ensure a cohesive approach to customer engagement.
Prepare regular sales reports and updates to the VP.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in sales leadership and achieving revenue targets within the education technology sector.
Strong understanding of education technology products, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to enhance sales strategies.
Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing sales teams.
Ability to travel regularly, about 60-70%, nationally.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales goals.
Experience in the traditional not-for-profit higher education industry, admissions or enrollment management is highly desired, with a particular focus on the graduate level.
Proficient with Technology Basics, PowerPoint, Salesforce.com, and Microsoft Office solutions.
Must have demonstrated ability and skills to work effectively in a remote environment with a dedicated office within the home.

Deep understanding of the education sector.
Excellent communication abilities.
Proven track record of driving sales growth and customer satisfaction.
Experience partnering with other executive leaders, particularly Vice President, Marketing, Chief Product Officer, Chief Financial Officer, as well as other members of leadership and staff.

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $140,000 — $170,000 USD.
