Role Description

BORDERPOLAR is an up-and-coming website that mainly covers technology and gaming (mainly video game guides), but will be branching out into various other topics. We're looking for writers with enough experience to know the basics, but are willing to learn and adapt to our writing style and grow with us.

• Focus on gaming guides and gaming gear guides.
• Ability to accurately explain processes to others.
• Strong knowledge of computer and mobile hardware targeting tech-savvy gaming enthusiasts.
• Occasional news posts, but not the main focus for the start of 2022.
• No limitations on writing volume as long as traffic is brought to the website.
• Topics driven by keyword research, mostly provided.
• SEO knowledge and ability to pitch own ideas required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of writing experience.
• Awareness of SEO and best practices.
• Basic image editing knowledge (GIMP, Photoshop, etc).
• Fluent in English (Ideally a native speaker).
• Passion for Gaming.
• Experience with WordPress is mandatory.
