Role Description
We’re hiring a French-speaking content writer to create long-form content in Standard French (français standard) for our B2B SaaS clients. This is a freelance position where you’ll work with our editorial team to produce well-researched, engaging, and SEO-optimized content that drives results.

Please note that we do not work with writers who subcontract their work.
- Write high-quality, long-form content in fluent Standard French (français standard) across a variety of B2B, SaaS, and technical topics.
- Create informative, engaging, and well-researched content tailored to professional audiences in French-speaking markets.
- Conduct thorough research to understand client products, target audiences, and industry context.
- Your writing will be rooted in real understanding—no surface-level fluff.
- Use our internal briefs to structure and outline your articles clearly and effectively.
- Incorporate keywords and SEO best practices without compromising readability or quality.
- Cite credible sources, stats, and examples to strengthen your arguments and support your narrative.
- Adapt your writing style to match the voice and tone of different client brands.
- Work closely with editors to revise and refine content based on feedback.
- Consistently meet deadlines and communicate clearly with the editorial lead about progress, questions, or blockers.
Qualifications
- Fluent in Standard French (français standard).
- Native or near-native level written fluency is required.
- A strong writer with 2–3 years of experience writing content for marketing, SEO, or B2B brands.
- Skilled at simplifying complex information into clear, actionable content.
- Familiar with SEO fundamentals and how to write with both readers and search engines in mind.
- Comfortable writing for different audience types—from technical practitioners to business decision-makers.
- Organized and self-motivated.
- Open to feedback and collaborative by nature.
- Friendly, curious, and passionate about producing truly valuable content.
- A degree in journalism, French studies, creative writing, linguistics, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Requirements
- Please submit 3–5 samples of written content in Standard French. At least 2 should focus on B2B, SaaS, or technical topics.
- Older samples are fine if paired with more recent work.
