Role Description
The Lifetime Value Co. is looking for a diligent, detail-oriented, and highly proficient Freelance Fact-Checker / Reviewer to join our fast-paced, dynamic team. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing all content that moves through all our articles on Bumper.com for accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for copyediting all written content on the Monday board, encompassing a wide range of content such as blog posts, white papers, marketing copy, UX copy, and more.

Fact-checking all pieces of copy, ensuring credibility and accuracy in our diverse range of content.

Adhering strictly to the LTV style guide, copyeditor guidelines, and AP style best practices in all given tasks.

Responding effectively to tickets on our Jira board.

Editing different lengths of copy at a rapid pace while maintaining quality and factual accuracy, with a same-day or next-day turnaround time.
Qualifications

Must have ASE Mechanic certification.

A strong grasp of grammar and style nuances.

Proficiency in using Jira boards for task management and communication.

Ability to work swiftly and effectively in a fast-paced environment, reliably meeting tight deadlines.

Highly developed attention to detail, with a strong focus on fact-checking and information verification.

Strong grasp of the English language and grammar.

Any knowledge of real estate, auto, or cybersecurity and people search industry news and trends is a plus, but not required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications, specifically Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs, and PowerPoint/Slides.

PR, Digital PR, journalism, or marketing experience is a bonus.

Avid consumer of news and online content.

Comfortable doing interviews with reporters and being quoted in relevant consumer news stories.
