[Hiring] Editor Manager @Flowpouch

Role Description

We are looking for a management-level individual to oversee our video editing team. This role is crucial for ensuring daily progress and maintaining quality control.

• Daily progress: Know where each editor stands against the sprint and identify any obstacles.
• The board and the sprint: Manage planning, capacity, and deadlines using Monday.com.
• Blockers: Identify and resolve missing assets, unclear briefs, and broken tools.
• Performance: Track weekly KPIs, provide feedback, conduct 1:1s, and present recommendations to the Head of Creative.
• Quality control: Ensure the quality of ad edits before delivery.
• Systems: Document the editing process for new editors.
• AI workflow: Assist in building and adopting an AI-assisted editing system.
• Hiring and onboarding: Collaborate with People Ops to onboard new editors.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in video editing for ads, with at least 2 years leading a team of editors or creatives.
• Experience in running performance metrics, KPIs, and conducting reviews.
• Knowledge of short-form ad editing to set realistic turnaround times and provide specific feedback.
• Strong leadership skills, able to hold team members accountable to deadlines.
• Comfortable with Monday.com or similar project management tools.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience using AI video and editing tools.
• Based in Europe with a schedule that accommodates time zones in the Philippines and the US.
• Strong plus: Experience managing a team in the Philippines.
• Nice to have: Hands-on experience with Premiere, CapCut, or After Effects; a performance-ad background; Scrum or similar experience.

• Ability to build presence through consistency in a remote team environment.
• Capability to measure work fairly and honestly.
• Ability to earn authority through follow-through rather than immediate changes.
• Act as the single line of communication for the editing team to the Head of Creative and founders.

Benefits

• Type: Full-time contractor.
• Compensation: $3,000–5,000 per month, depending on experience and location, plus a bonus tied to the share of editors hitting their weekly KPIs.
• Location: Remote.
• Reports to: Head of Creative.
• Start: As soon as possible, ideally November 2026.
