accelerate agency is searching for a highly-skilled and detail-oriented copy editor to join our growing team. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated editor to proofread, check, and edit a wide range of written content.

• Proofreading and editing varied content written by our extensive team of writers, ensuring the highest standards of writing and language.
• Checking all content against the requirements of given briefs, instructions of our clients, and specific guidelines for each piece of content.
• Taking responsibility to improve content where required or feeding back succinctly to writers to explain where they must make amendments.
• Researching and understanding varied topics to check the veracity of written content covering a variety of subjects.
• Working in a fast-paced virtual environment, and combining well with our existing team.

Qualifications

• Exceptional grasp of written English, able to write flawless, informative copy.
• Top-end spelling and grammar abilities, with knowledge of how to apply these in a proofreading and copy-editing context.
• Ability to excel in a remote working environment and communicate clearly and accurately within a diverse team.
• Understanding of the SEO requirements of online content, with the ability to apply that understanding to copy editing material.
