Role Description

We are seeking a creative and dedicated Diversity and Inclusion Content Creator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion through compelling digital content. This role involves developing and executing content strategies that resonate with diverse audiences, with a particular focus on LGBTQ+ topics and issues.

• Content Strategy Development: Design and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our mission to promote diversity and inclusion, particularly focusing on LGBTQ+ topics.
• Content Creation: Produce high-quality, engaging content for various digital platforms, including blogs, social media, videos, and podcasts.
• Audience Engagement: Build and nurture an online community by creating content that encourages interaction, engagement, and a sense of belonging.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, and design, to ensure content consistency and alignment with overall brand messaging.
• Research and Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging issues, and best practices in diversity and inclusion to inform content creation.
• Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze content performance using relevant metrics and provide regular reports to adjust strategies and improve outcomes.
• Community Representation: Act as a spokesperson and advocate for diverse communities, ensuring their voices and stories are represented authentically and respectfully.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing, with a strong portfolio of work focused on diversity and inclusion.
• Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Proficiency with digital content creation tools and platforms (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, social media platforms).
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of LGBTQ+ issues and other diversity and inclusion topics. Awareness of current trends and conversations in these areas.
• Attributes: Creative thinker with strong attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
