Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Copywriter I to join our marketing team. As a Copywriter, you will be responsible for crafting compelling and engaging copy for various marketing channels and campaigns. You will work to ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality-driven, and aligns with our company's messaging, tone and voice, and company goals.

Conceptualize and develop creative and persuasive copy for marketing campaigns, advertisements, websites, emails, social media, corporate collateral, and other channels.

Collaborate closely with designers, Integrated Marketing, Website team, and other teams to understand project requirements, target audience, and objectives.

Edit and proofread copy to ensure clarity, grammar, consistency, and brand voice and tone adherence.

Understand and follow AP Style Guides for copy consistency and adherence.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in copywriting and digital marketing. Knowledge of the IT technology industry is a bonus.

Conduct research and interviews to understand customer needs and market trends.

Follow an established content calendar to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Follow an established copy standards playbook to adhere to content consistency.
Qualifications

1+ years of proven experience as a Copywriter in B2B technology companies, IT/AV distribution or reseller preferred.

Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

Ability to adapt writing style to various tones, voices, and platforms.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Bachelorβs degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (preferred).

Proficiency in SEO principles and content optimization.

Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Proven ability to work closely and successfully with a sales organization.

Ability to work very independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Rigorous attention to detail and focus on quality of deliverables.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships across sales, marketing and external vendors and associates.
