About the Job

As a Content Writer at elev8.io, you’ll create high-performing, SEO-driven, conversion-focused content for behavioral health brands across the U.S.

This is not a generic blog-writing role.

You’ll craft strategic content that builds trust, ranks in search, supports admissions teams, and drives measurable growth.

You’ll collaborate closely with SEO Strategists, Web, Paid Media, and Client Success to ensure every asset aligns with performance goals — from traffic to VOBs to admissions.

What You’ll Do

Content Strategy & Execution

• Write long-form SEO blogs (1,000–2,500+ words) aligned with keyword strategy and search intent.
• Develop high-converting service and treatment landing pages.
• Create lead magnets, guides, case studies, and email nurture content.
• Contribute to thought leadership and executive ghostwriting.
• Optimize content for internal linking, structure, readability, and AI Search visibility.
  
  

Industry Mastery & Expertise Development

• Develop deep knowledge of behavioral health, addiction treatment, levels of care, insurance dynamics, and admissions workflows
• Understand patient and family psychology to craft content that builds trust and drives action
• Stay current on industry trends, compliance sensitivities, and best practices in ethical behavioral health marketing
• Translate complex clinical and operational concepts into clear, authoritative, empathetic content
• Position clients as trusted authorities through accurate, informed, and insight-driven writing

Performance & Optimization

• Work from SEO briefs and content calendars within ClickUp.
• Align content with KPIs such as organic growth, engagement rate, and blog-to-lead conversion.
• Collaborate with SEO teams on content clusters and topical authority.
• Revise and improve content based on performance data and feedback.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with SEO Strategists to ensure alignment with ranking goals.
• Collaborate with Web and Design to ensure proper formatting and UX flow.
• Support Client Success with content updates and campaign needs.
• Maintain structured documentation and deadline discipline across all projects.

What You Bring

• 3–6 years of professional content writing experience (agency or healthcare preferred).
• Native U.S.-level English writing skills (non-negotiable).
• Experience writing for healthcare, wellness, or behavioral health brands strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to write SEO-optimized, long-form content that ranks and converts.
• Strong understanding of search intent, keyword placement, and on-page best practices.
• Ability to balance empathy and authority when writing about addiction and mental health.
• Familiarity with tools such as Semrush, SurferSEO, GA4 (basic understanding), and ClickUp.
• Comfort using ChatGPT or AI tools responsibly to enhance workflow efficiency.
• High attention to detail — grammar, structure, tone consistency.
• Structured, deadline-driven, and performance-minded.
