About the Role:

Builder.io is seeking a Content Lead (Individual Contributor) to help define how the company is understood at a critical moment in its evolution. Collaborating closely with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Product, Sales, DevRel, and executive leadership, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the narrative for a fast-growing category at the intersection of AI, frontend engineering, and team productivity.

At Builder.io, content is not a support function. It is a growth lever. As a Content Lead, you will help translate rapid product innovation into clear, compelling stories that connect Builder’s capabilities to outcomes executives care about, including capital efficiency, delivery velocity, governance, and risk reduction.

A key part of this role is developing content that speaks to distinct enterprise personas while reinforcing a unified Builder story. This includes shaping narratives for engineering leadership such as CTOs and platform or frontend leads who care deeply about governance, quality, and risk, as well as for product, design, and marketing leaders who are focused on speed, autonomy, and execution. The expectation is not one-size-fits-all content, but clear, intentional storytelling that meets each audience where they are and shows how their priorities connect.

This role goes beyond writing individual assets. It is about building clarity, alignment, and trust across the organization while shipping high-quality content at the pace of the market.

As a Content Lead at Builder.io, you will:

Work as a thought partner with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Product, Sales, DevRel, and leadership to shape and refine Builder’s core narratives

Develop persona-aware content that speaks to executive, technical, and operator audiences while maintaining a cohesive top-down narrative

Translate complex product and technical capabilities into clear stories that resonate with executives and technical audiences alike

Produce a significant portion of Builder’s core content, including website messaging, thought leadership, and executive or field-facing materials

Partner closely with Demand Generation on field events and executive campaigns, ensuring strong narrative consistency from top-of-funnel through sales conversations

Use AI-assisted workflows thoughtfully to increase content velocity, iteration, and narrative consistency without compromising quality

Help define quarterly content themes aligned to product roadmap and go-to-market priorities

Establish and maintain a unified editorial calendar to bring structure and predictability to content delivery

Coordinate internal and external contributors while maintaining ownership for quality, alignment, and delivery

Provide visibility into what content is being produced, why it matters, and when it will be delivered

Partner with DevRel, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to adapt, broadcast, and reinforce Builder’s core narratives across social media and other owned channels

You will thrive in this role if you have…

Experience: 7+ years of experience producing content for B2B SaaS companies, with bonus points for experience in technically complex or developer-focused spaces.

Strategic Perspective: A strong understanding of how narrative influences enterprise buying decisions, executive trust, and go-to-market success.

Collaboration: Comfort working cross-functionally and synthesizing input from Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Product, Sales, and technical teams.

Execution Mindset: A hands-on approach. You enjoy writing, editing, and shipping content yourself, not just directing others.

Adaptability: The ability to thrive in fast-moving environments where product, market, and messaging evolve quickly.

Technical Curiosity: Interest in modern frontend development and AI-driven workflows, with the ability to translate technical detail into business value.

The items above are a starting point for a conversation, not a hard list of requirements. If this role excites you, we hope you will apply.

About Builder.io:

Builder.io is pioneering the space between design and development, creating a new category of Visual Development Platform that transforms how teams build digital products.

Our Visual Copilot technology bridges the gap between Figma designs and production code, enabling teams to build interactive features using natural language while working with their actual code, data, and APIs. Alongside our code generation capabilities, our CMS empowers organizations to skip code generation altogether and publish updates to any live site or app in a couple clicks.

Trusted by leading mid-market to enterprise-level companies like JCrew, Vimeo, and Anheuser Busch, we're focused on eliminating the traditional bottlenecks between design, development, and content management.
