Role Description

The role of a Content Editor and Moderator involves various responsibilities centered around content verification, management, and additional tasks.

Verification Analysis

• Maintain the safety and security of client content by reviewing and analyzing user-generated postings and verification details.
• Use independent discretion to determine when additional information or verification is required, and communicate with job posters.
• Apply independent judgment to identify and eliminate scams and inappropriate postings.
• Make decisions regarding a user's legitimacy based on background check results and other verification materials.
• Monitor and review system-generated alerts related to client/job-poster activities.
• Investigate scam complaints and reports of inappropriate behavior.

Content Management

• Review and enhance user-generated content by copy-editing and optimizing job posts.
• Manage ticket-queue pipelines for incoming job posts.
• Utilize expert knowledge to engage and support employers throughout their casting process.
• Independently source missing information and enter additional job details into the system.
• Educate and assist clients as a product expert.
• Provide guidance and insights to clients on posting jobs.
• Train clients on casting tools and troubleshoot any issues they encounter.

Additional Tasks

• Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional needs.
• Research projects and triage escalated tickets from customer service.
• Examine job database reports to identify jobs that may need attention.
• Assist team members with training, troubleshooting, and escalated cases.
• Perform other responsibilities and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Self-directed, efficient, independent worker able to work autonomously.
• Experience in job listing and editing is required.
• 1-2 years of CSR experience in a BPO setup.
• Demonstrated experience handling a high volume of specialized content and users.
• Highly organized, detail- and deadline-oriented.
• Able to evaluate information and make decisions independently.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent copy editing, fact-checking, proofreading, and research skills.
• Good data-entry, account management, and client support skills.
• Technical acuity—able to understand and explain online casting/hiring technology.
• Strong analytical skills—capable of assembling and interpreting data.
• Bonus: Knowledgeable about film, TV, theater, commercial production, or willing to learn.
