Role Description

The Content Developer is critical for creating and maintaining custom content and configurations across our suite of portals and applications. The ideal candidate will have strong coding skills and thrive in fast-paced environments, delivering high-quality work on urgent and short-timeline projects.

This position is full-time (40 hours/week), Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST. This will be on-the-job training and the hours during training will be 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM from Monday - Friday.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement custom content and configurations for UMR web portals and apps
• Code specific designs accurately and efficiently, ensuring alignment with project requirements
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to meet tight deadlines
• Maintain version control and code integrity using GitHub
• Support ongoing enhancements and troubleshooting for existing portal content
• Ensure compliance with UMR standards and best practices

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
• Must be 18 years of age OR older
• 2+ years of experience coding with HTML and other content development languages (CSS, JavaScript, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience using GitHub for version control and collaboration
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week), Monday - Friday

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in content development and coding (preferred)
• Experience with Workfront for project management (preferred)
• Familiarity with UMR systems and processes (preferred)
• Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
• Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
• Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Pay

The hourly pay for this role will range from $35.00 - $62.50 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
