Role Description

We are looking for someone with excellent writing and research skills to be our Content/Copywriter. As a member of the creative team, the copywriter will:

• Write and edit content for a variety of projects including press releases, white papers, marketing collateral, blogs, web, mobile, video, and social media.
• Work closely with the marketing and design teams to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and articulate messaging.
• Be a quick learner with a versatile writing style.

Key Responsibilities

• Write original copy and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials across various media.
• Meet with Department Leader to understand the intended audience and the message the company wants to communicate.
• Edit and proof work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs.
• Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team and client representatives when requested.
• Revise copy based on feedback and requirements.
• Collaborate with creative, product, marketing, and legal teams to generate company-approved press releases.
• Drive brand consistency across all company communications.
• Stay current on trends and competitors within the editorial sphere.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication or Marketing is preferred.
• 4+ years of experience supporting corporate clients.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Technical background with a focus on writing, with the ability to present complex data in clear, concise text.
• Ability to analyze and synthesize data to deliver on-point messaging for intended audiences.
• History of developing creative written content.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
• Ability to edit and proofread work of colleagues.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
