Role Description
The Proposal Writer supports the development and delivery of client proposal responses by preparing content, assisting with project tracking, and coordinating inputs from internal stakeholders. This role helps ensure the quality and timely submission of proposals by following established templates and procedures.

Assist in preparing responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and other client questionnaires.

Populate proposal templates with approved and standardized content.

Proofread and format content to ensure consistency, grammar, and brand alignment.

Ensure proposal documents meet submission requirements and deadlines.

Track proposal timelines, deliverables, and review cycles using established project management tools.

Coordinate with sales, product, legal, and compliance teams to gather required input for responses.

Support proposal kick-off and review meetings by distributing materials and capturing action items.

Help maintain the proposal content library (e.g., Qvidian) by tagging, organizing, and updating pre-approved responses.

Follow version control and naming conventions for content files.

Suggest basic improvements to templates, content formatting, or team workflows when identified.

Assist in documenting team processes and checklists.
Qualifications

1β2 years of experience in a business writing, marketing, or administrative support role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Basic familiarity with proposal tools or project tracking systems (training available).

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and written communication abilities.
Requirements

Bachelorβs degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred).

Exposure to insurance, financial services, or healthcare industries (preferred).

Familiarity with Qvidian, Smartsheet, or similar tools (preferred).

Coursework or training in marketing communications or proposal development (preferred).
Benefits

Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000
