The impact you'll make:
As a seasoned writer with a wealth of experience building brands either in-house or at agency, you understand the power and importance copy brings into the dimension of a brand and ushering it to life. You can conceptualize brand and campaign platform ideas and see them to execution – no matter what channel they appear – with consistency and craft that is integral to scaling our specific brand of functional wellness.
You are well-versed in advertising best practices, passionate about social and cultural conversations within our industry and look to champion unexpected ideas that punch above their weight to deliver results and make Saje famous. Equally, you are as comfortable working within performance mediums and understand the importance of it all in building work that works.
You are experienced at working with creatives from various disciplines and lift all boats as a leader, empowering skillset growth and encouraging greatness. As a brand on a mission to remedy real life, you find ways to proactively bring solutions to the table, shepherding a team of talented writers to their best work, daily, and are unafraid to lead with integrity, compassion and grit.

You will be close to the business in all aspects and get to work with some phenomenal people within the creative team and cross-functionally. All Saje Team Members are responsible for contributing to Saje’s culture and maintaining a positive environment for themselves and their peers.
What you'll do:
- Support in all brand development work as it pertains to content and copy and lead copy strategy for product launches and campaigns.
- Facilitate and build upon our evolved tone of voice positioning it across all channels.
- Conceptualize larger campaign ideas and umbrella concepts, working with the Design Director to ensure they are on strategy and on brand.
- Present work in a cohesive manner to senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners, using strong narrative deck-building skills and a mastery of the room, briefs and insights.
- Manage the execution of campaigns and have experience on-set with both motion and stills, ensuring work is up to the level of craft, warmth and wit akin to the new brand.
- Partner with Marketing, Growth and Retail teams, becoming the go-to-expert with a wealth of knowledge around best practices and an encyclopedic knowledge of Saje’s products, benefits and brand positioning.
- Lead team to deliver timely, creative, and on-brand work that meets shared KPI's and briefing deadlines.
- Accountable to work produced the writers —providing feedback where necessary and mentoring them for career and skillset growth.
- Advocate for team capacity, resources and professional growth opportunities and maintain 1:1s with your direct team.
- Manage administrative tasks for your team (vacation approval, job descriptions, reviews and goals)
- Create an environment where all Team Members consistently experience a sense of belonging and inclusion.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- 7 - 10 years of advertising experience, developing and creating full-funnel, omni-channel campaigns with consistency and agility.
- A strong foundation of strategic thinking with proven conceptual ideation and the ability to pull those ideas through a variety of channels through your medium, copy.
- Ability to carry out a concept from start to completion, and guide those on your team to do the same. Executing and delegating as needed through the production process.
- Strong knowledge of platform, creative and industry trends and digital best practices. Must be able to translate this knowledge into articulating and strategically applying to creative executions.
- Experience evaluating teams with the ability to supervise and train employees on an ongoing basis.
- A talent for wearing multiple hats switching easily from ecomm to email to scripting, shoot supervision, retail and product naming.
- Simultaneously manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Proficient in gathering learnings and insights from platforms, consumer feedback and culture to make concise, relevant recommendations.
