YDay - Assurant is hiring a remote Senior Manager, International Supply Chain. πŸ’Έ Salary: unspecified πŸ“Location: Argentina

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager, International Supply Chain to help strengthen and scale our international supply chain organization. In this role, you will serve as a supply chain subject matter expert, partnering with regional operations and leadership to establish best-in-class processes, optimize third-party logistics and repair networks, support new business and operational implementations, and improve supplier performance and cost efficiency.

You will have broad exposure across our international operations and will work cross-functionally with Operations, Procurement, IT, Finance, Quality, and other stakeholders. The role is ideal for a supply chain leader who combines deep expertise in the wireless, mobility, or electronics industry with strong commercial, analytical, implementation, and vendor-management capabilities.

What makes us different?

  • International impact: Help shape supply chain strategy and operational excellence across multiple regions and markets.
  • High-visibility role: Partner directly with senior supply chain leadership and regional operations leaders on critical initiatives.
  • Opportunity to build: Help establish scalable processes, governance models, tools, and best practices as the international supply chain organization continues to evolve.
  • End-to-end exposure: Influence the complete supply chain ecosystem, including 3PLs, warehousing, transportation, repair operations, technology integrations, contracts, cost management, and performance.
  • Data-driven environment: Use operational and financial insights to identify opportunities, solve complex supply chain challenges, and deliver measurable improvements in cost, quality, and service.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead third-party partner and contract management: Support strategic sourcing, negotiations, contract execution, and ongoing governance across 3PLs, carriers, warehousing providers, repair providers, and other supply chain partners. Establish and monitor SLAs and KPIs and drive accountability through regular performance reviews.
  • Drive implementations and operational readiness: Lead or support end-to-end onboarding of new 3PLs, repair providers, distribution centers, new business operations, and supply chain technology integrations, including WMS and TMS solutions. Coordinate cross-functional project plans to ensure successful launches.
  • Optimize supply chain costs: Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities across transportation, warehousing, packaging, network design, and provider contracts. Support freight and third-party billing audits and total-cost-to-serve analysis.
  • Improve operational performance: Monitor critical logistics and supply chain KPIs such as On-Time In-Full (OTIF), order cycle time, inventory accuracy, damage rates, repair performance, and cost per unit. Apply data-driven root-cause analysis to resolve performance gaps and operational bottlenecks.
  • Build best-in-class practices across regions: Assess established operations, processes, contracts, and supplier-management practices; identify opportunities for improvement; support regional supply chain teams; and promote the sharing and standardization of successful practices across the international organization.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive supply chain, logistics, transportation, or related experience, with significant experience supporting the wireless, mobility, electronic devices, or consumer electronics industry.
  • Demonstrated experience directly managing 3PL and repair/service provider networks, including vendor performance, SLAs, KPIs, escalations, and continuous improvement.
  • Proven experience with complex contract negotiations, RFPs, strategic sourcing, and commercial governance, ideally including responsibility for significant transportation, logistics, or supply chain spend.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain technology, including ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Transportation Management Systems (TMS). Experience with platforms such as SAP or Oracle is highly relevant.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

Additional Skills/Experience

  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale supply chain implementations, including new 3PLs, repair partners, distribution operations, new business launches, or technology integrations.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including cost modeling, total-cost-to-serve analysis, business case development, and demonstrated ability to deliver measurable cost savings.
  • Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau, along with advanced Excel modeling and reporting capabilities.
  • Strong operational excellence and continuous improvement capabilities. Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or similar certifications are considered a plus.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and executive communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional and regional teams in an international operating environment.

Working Conditions

General office demands. This role will support international and regional supply chain operations and may require flexibility to collaborate across different time zones based on business and project needs.
