Role Description

Versatile development role supplying deep technical expertise in design and development for external-facing enterprise websites and related digital properties. This is a creative and technical hybrid role working directly with business stakeholders, strategists, marketers, content teams, and designers to capture requirements, develop prototypes, and deliver robust AEM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver web experiences on Adobe Experience Manager.
• Participate in the full systems development life cycle, including meetings, iterative development, estimation, and design sessions.
• Develop complex AEM components and templates in AEM 6.x with Touch UI using Sightly/HTL.
• Work with modern front-end frameworks and technologies such as Bootstrap, LESS, Sass, Angular, React, JavaScript, Backbone, Granite, and Coral UI Foundation.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain a high level of code quality and ensure appropriate design patterns are used.
• Leverage website metrics and testing to evaluate design effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years AEM implementation experience.
• 5+ years Enterprise CMS experience.
• 7+ years Java/J2EE development.
• Strong AEM Sites, Assets, Forms, and Commerce experience.
• React, Angular, JavaScript, HTL/Sightly.
• AWS or cloud deployment experience.
• REST/SOAP integrations.
• Agile delivery experience.

Requirements

• 2+ years implementing AEM solutions, including templates, components, and web console configuration.
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise content management systems.
• Experience with Adobe CQ/AEM APIs and functionality such as Sites, Apps, Assets, Forms, Commerce, and AEM component development/testing.
• 7+ years Java and J2EE/JEE software development experience.
• Experience with CSS, HTML, XML, AJAX, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Java concepts and patterns including JSP, Spring, Sling, JMS, JUnit, AOP, MVC, and IntelliJ/Eclipse.
• Experience developing web services and application integrations with third-party frameworks.
• Source control experience with CVS, SVN, or Git.
• Experience deploying applications on AWS or private cloud.
• Full-stack software development background.
• Agile methodology experience or certification preferred.
• Experience with unit testing, static analysis, build automation, CI/CD, build management, and source management.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working with marketing, brand, content, IT, vendor, and business partner teams.
