[Hiring] Technical Solution Architect @Personify Health

2d ago - Personify Health is hiring a remote Technical Solution Architect. 💸 Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year 📍Location: USA

Role Description

You are a seasoned, client-engaged technical professional who can assess complex sponsor situations, understand client and business outcomes, and translate them into secure, scalable data and integration solutions that improve operational effectiveness and create a frictionless client and member experience.

The Employer Technical Solution Architect provides dedicated technical partnership to the Employer business. The role combines strategic support for selected clients with portfolio-level initiatives that reduce sponsor vulnerabilities, strengthen data and identity practices, protect Personify Health from security and operational risks, and turn recurring client issues into repeatable technical patterns and playbooks.

This role will initially dedicate approximately 30% of its capacity to Gallagher and approximately 70% to the broader Employer portfolio, with priorities adjusted as business and client needs evolve. This role will focus on the Wellbeing anchor product and its eligibility, identity, authentication, integration, reporting, and partner-connectivity dependencies.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities/Duties

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to selected Employer clients, including dedicated support for Gallagher’s technical and data needs, renewal priorities, and agreed-upon strategic initiatives.
  • Provide holistic data-strategy support to selected clients by assessing eligibility, identity, authentication, integration, reporting, migration, and partner-connectivity requirements.
  • Verify that the correct data points are received inbound so Data as a Service (DaaS) teams can reliably support required outbound files and reporting.
  • Assess eligibility-file structures and downstream dependencies before changes are made, including impacts to outbound files, reporting, partner integrations, and the member experience.
  • Identify clients using Social Security numbers or other higher-risk approaches as unique identifiers and develop practical migration strategies toward more sustainable identifier models.
  • Support MFA, SSO, enrollment, authentication, API, and integration design in partnership with the appropriate Security, Product, Engineering, Integrations, Operations, and account teams.
  • Support client integration efforts that promote Personify Health platform best practices, a frictionless member experience, reliable reporting, and scalable operations.
  • Help move existing clients toward best-practice data solutions while balancing client needs, implementation feasibility, cost of service, operational readiness, and risk.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, account teams, Product, Engineering, Integrations, Security, DaaS, and Operations; translate business needs into clear technical requirements, decisions, and recommended actions.
  • Coordinate complex dependencies across clients, vendors, partners, Product, Engineering, Integrations, Operations, and account teams through implementation and remediation.
  • Manage scalable, cross-functional projects that reduce sponsor vulnerabilities and help protect Personify Health from security, identity, integration, and operational risks.
  • Evaluate technical readiness for evolving product direction, migrations, and platform changes; identify material dependencies, gaps, and remediation needs early.
  • Turn recurring client problems into reusable technical patterns, standards, decision guidance, and playbooks rather than solving each situation independently.
  • Document common inbound-data and eligibility issues that cause implementation rework and partner with Implementation, Product, Engineering, Integrations, and DaaS on repeatable prevention and remediation approaches.
  • Provide technical subject-matter expertise for pre-sales, implementation, renewal, retention, escalation, and account-management needs when warranted.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of solution architecture, project status, decisions, dependencies, time commitments, and recommended follow-up actions in designated systems of record.
  • Execute tactics that support the strategic goals and annual operating plan of the Solution Architect team and remain resourceful in continued learning and change.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience, in information systems, computer science, data management, business, healthcare, or a related discipline required.
  • 5+ years of directly related experience in solution architecture, technical account management, systems integration, data strategy, implementation, product development, project management, or operational account support; 7+ years preferred.
  • Experience owning or serving as a trusted technical advisor to client and/or prospect relationships.
  • Experience working with eligibility, identity, authentication, APIs, inbound and outbound data exchanges, reporting, third-party partners, or similar enterprise integration environments.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives with Product, Engineering, Security, Integrations, Operations, Sales, and client-facing teams.
  • Healthcare, employee wellbeing, benefits administration, health plan, or employer-market experience preferred.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to lead business and technical discussions with customers, architect the value of proposed solutions, and recommend implementation best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of data architecture and integration concepts, including data mapping, identifiers, eligibility, APIs, authentication, SSO/MFA, partner connectivity, migrations, and downstream dependencies.
  • Ability to recognize data, identity, security, and operational vulnerabilities; assess business and client impact; and coordinate appropriate remediation with accountable teams.
  • Experience with requirements gathering, use-case documentation, business analysis, solution documentation, and translating technical concepts for nontechnical audiences.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills at both the business and technical levels, with the ability to build trust across clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong project leadership, organizational skills, and detail orientation, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, establish clear ownership, track dependencies, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to distinguish technical advisory and solution-architecture responsibilities from file development, file QA, production operations, and resource scheduling owned by other teams.
  • Innovative, ideas-driven leadership with the ability to lead through change, work in agile ways, and pivot strategically in a growing organization.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client or prospect visits.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary and benefits effective day one.
  • Comprehensive medical and dental through our own health solutions (yes, we use what we build).
  • Unlimited PTO—rest and recharge time is non-negotiable.
  • Mental health support, retirement planning, and financial protection.
  • Professional development with clear career progression and learning budgets.
  • Mission-driven culture where diverse perspectives drive real impact on people's health.
