[Hiring] Technical Manager, Applications System Development @FIS

Role Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Technical Managers, Applications System Development in Jacksonville, FL to work throughout the software development life cycle and perform in a utility capacity to:

• Create, design, code, debug, maintain, test, implement and validate applications with a broad understanding of a variety of languages and architecture.
• Analyze existing applications or formulate logic for new applications, procedures, flowcharting, coding and debugging programs.
• Maintain and utilize application and programming documents in the development of code.
• Recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards.
• Create appropriate deliverables and develop application implementation plans throughout the life cycle in a flexible development environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Requirements

• Designing, developing and analyzing data.
• Advanced knowledge of front/back-end languages/technologies including Java, Spring, Object oriented concepts in modern programming languages used in the enterprise.
• Working with Enterprise UI applications, Agile methodologies, Databases, Restful APIs and external Services.
• Working with relational and NoSQL Databases.
• Driving execution to modernize application products including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Supporting agile delivery models and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Providing architectural oversight for enterprise application development and integration.
• Leading the development of multi-year roadmaps for infrastructure modernization and implementation, and application portfolio optimization.
• Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
