Role Description

Build and maintain production software that turns financial risk methodologies into reliable, customer-facing scores. Working across engineering and financial analysis, you will own scoring integrity, strengthen validation, and help make the analytics codebase safe to change.

• Implement and maintain production code for risk scoring and related calculations.
• Translate documented methodologies into reliable code and raise questions when requirements are ambiguous.
• Ensure scoring runs are repeatable and safe to rerun after failures.
• Improve scoring performance as portfolio and security volumes grow.
• Contribute to flexible, modular calculation and analytics libraries used by other teams.
• Build a reference-set validation harness that compares engine results with adjudicated examples.
• Integrate validation into CI and report coverage and model drift clearly.
• Maintain production engineering standards, including tests, code review, and CI.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10+ years of relevant experience building or supporting production systems.
• A background in computer science, mathematics, engineering, another science, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Experience building golden-data or reference-set validation beyond unit tests.
• Experience with quantitative or analytical software and the judgment to investigate existing production code before changing it.
• Ability to work across multiple analytical areas, not only risk scoring.

Benefits

• Base salary: $4,000 to $8,000 USD annually.
