Role Description

The Senior Frontend Developer works on our in-house projects, including:

• Designing features, writing code, and performing code reviews.
• Solving problems and delivering stable, well-built solutions.
• Owning frontend architecture and serving as a technical reference point for the frontend.
• Showing ownership, versatility, and enthusiasm for technical challenges across our stack.
• Setting a strong example in using modern development practices, including AI-assisted tooling.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing new frontend features from requirements analysis through to delivery.
• Proposing and owning frontend architectural solutions across multiple projects.
• Building efficient, testable, and reusable UI components.
• Solving complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
• Troubleshooting complex application and code issues.
• Integrating REST and GraphQL APIs and collaborating with backend developers.
• Making effective use of client-side storage solutions.
• Maintaining, refactoring, and modernizing application features across multiple projects.
• Conducting analysis of UX/UI projects and application requirements.
• Providing estimates and technical documentation when requested.
• Managing individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Working with external partners when required.
• Helping track requests, issues, work progress, and other changes using project management tools.
• Performing code reviews and mentoring other frontend developers.
• Using AI tools thoughtfully to support development, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• At least 5 years' experience in a comparable software development role.
• Mastery of modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience with Vue in production applications.
• Strong knowledge of semantic HTML5 and modern CSS3.
• In-depth experience with Vite or similar build tools.
• Ability to write and maintain automated tests and clear technical documentation.
• Proficient with version control systems, including Git.
• Proven experience resolving cross-browser and cross-device compatibility issues.
• Solid experience consuming and shaping REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Hands-on experience with real-time communication technologies.
• Working knowledge of Docker.
• Proven experience mentoring developers or acting as a technical lead.
• Comfortable working with AI-assisted development tools.
• Strong communication skills in spoken and written English.

Requirements

• Proficiency with the Unix shell and Linux development environments (nice to have).
• Good understanding of SEO best practices; familiarity with GEO is a plus (nice to have).
• Knowledge of SQL for data retrieval (nice to have).
• Ability to read and understand PHP code; Laravel experience is a plus (nice to have).
