Role Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong experience in the Energy/Utilities domain to support an SAP implementation project. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, testing, and supporting SAP ABAP solutions across utilities business processes.

• Experience with SAP IS-U / S/4HANA Utilities and utility-specific processes such as Meter-to-Cash, Device Management, Billing, Invoicing, and FICA is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong experience with:
  • ABAP Reports
  • OO ABAP
  • ALV
  • Enhancements / BAdIs / User Exits
  • Function Modules
  • Debugging
  • Performance Tuning
  • RICEF/WRICEF
• Strong experience with interfaces and integrations:
  • IDocs
  • BAPIs
  • RFC
  • Web Services
  • OData / APIs
• Experience with Adobe Forms / Smart Forms.
• Good understanding of SAP data structures, tables, and technical architecture.
• Experience working in SAP implementation projects, preferably full lifecycle.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Utilities / Energy Domain Experience.

Requirements

• Must have or strongly preferred:
  • Experience working in the Energy / Utilities industry.
  • SAP IS-U / S/4HANA Utilities experience.
  • Knowledge of Meter-to-Cash (M2C) processes.

    • Metering / Point of Delivery
• SAP documentation confirms that Utilities implementations can involve processes such as supplier changes, grid usage, enrollment/termination, and IS-U data exchange.
