[Hiring] Programmer Analyst @Pyramid Consulting

Role Description

Immediate need for a talented Programmer Analyst. This is a 06+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in U.S (Remote).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop robust applications using Java 17, ensuring a strong foundation in OOP, generics, and concurrent programming.
• Build automated test suites (unit, integration) using JUnit 5 and Mockito, integrating these tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Design, implement, and deploy microservices that expose well-documented REST APIs, leveraging Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the software platform based on customer requirements.
• Engage in problem-solving and innovative approaches to improve existing functionalities.

Qualifications

• Experience with Cucumber/BDD implementation and API automation.
• Background in a regulated industry, particularly with large-scale projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (preferred).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Proven experience in test automation and building automated test suites.
• Experience with microservices and REST APIs.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset.
• Analytical and system-level problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Pay Range: $50 - $53/hour.
