Role Description

We are seeking a Mobile App Developer for a one-time, project-based engagement focused on the enhancement, optimization, and improvement of an existing mobile application. The developer will be responsible for:

• Assessing the current application and its codebase.
• Identifying performance issues and areas for improvement.
• Implementing approved enhancements.
• Ensuring that existing functionalities remain stable and reliable.
• Debugging, code optimization, API integration, performance testing, and resolution of identified technical issues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mobile application enhancement, maintenance, or optimization.
• Demonstrable experience working with an existing mobile application or codebase.
• Portfolio or relevant project samples showing previous mobile application development work.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following:
  • Flutter / Dart
  • React Native / JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Android / Kotlin / Java
  • iOS / Swift
• Experience with API integration and backend connectivity.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of application performance optimization and code refactoring.
• Ability to understand and work with an existing codebase rather than developing an application entirely from scratch.
• Willingness to provide the updated source code, technical documentation, and complete project turnover upon completion.

Requirements

• Experience optimizing applications with existing users or production deployments.
• Experience resolving application crashes, slow performance, memory issues, and compatibility problems.
• Experience with Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Analytics, or similar monitoring tools.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing.
• Experience with Google Play Store and/or Apple App Store deployment.
• Experience optimizing API calls, database queries, and network performance.
• Experience working with legacy or previously developed mobile applications.
• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
