Role Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Middleware Engineer - Remote position with a Technology Company located in Paramus, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

We are seeking a skilled Redis & Middleware Engineer to support, administer, and optimize enterprise middleware platforms and caching technologies in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong middleware administration experience, hands-on expertise with CI/CD automation tools, and working knowledge of Redis. This role will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, security, and reliability of middleware infrastructure while supporting application deployment pipelines and automation initiatives.

• Administer, maintain, and support enterprise middleware platforms across development, testing, and production environments
• Install, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and upgrade middleware technologies to ensure high availability and optimal performance
• Manage and support Redis environments, including deployment, configuration, monitoring, backup, recovery, and performance tuning
• Collaborate with application development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to support application deployments and platform integrations
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related automation tools
• Manage artifact repositories and deployment processes utilizing Artifactory and XLR (XL Release)
• Develop and maintain automation solutions using Ansible and other orchestration tools to streamline operational processes
• Support release management activities, including deployment planning, execution, rollback procedures, and production support
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and standard operating procedures
• Participate in on-call support rotations and provide timely resolution of production issues
• Ensure compliance with organizational security, operational, and change management standards

Qualifications

• Strong middleware administration experience
• Hands-on expertise with CI/CD automation tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, XLR (XL Release), and Ansible
• Working knowledge of Redis
• Experience supporting, administering, and optimizing enterprise middleware platforms and caching technologies
• Ability to collaborate with application development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams

Requirements

• Pay range: $24.98 - $34.98 per hour
• Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
