[Hiring] Lead Unity SDK Engineer @LoopMe

1wk ago - LoopMe is hiring a remote Lead Unity SDK Engineer. 💸 Salary: unspecified 📍Location: USA

Role Description

You’ll own the entire Unity product surface at LoopMe — the SDK layer that bridges our native iOS and Android products into the Unity ecosystem for game and app developers. You’ll have full architectural autonomy over how our Unity packages are designed, tested, and shipped, working closely with our iOS, Android, and QE teams to keep native and Unity experiences in lockstep. This role reports to the VP Engineering, SDK.

What you’ll do

  • Own and operate the entire Unity product surface, with full architectural autonomy and per-platform customisation.
  • Build and manage open source publishing for LoopMe’s Unity packages, applying licensing best practices.
  • Establish and run CI/CD pipelines for the Unity product surface.
  • Drive parity between native iOS and Android platforms through proactive cross-team collaboration.
  • Build generic, reusable tooling that Unity packages across the SDK portfolio can share.
  • Develop and maintain LoopMe’s Unity validator app.
  • Manage Unity license administration across the SDK organisation.
  • Partner with QE on cross-platform testing and support integration partners with clear SDK documentation.

Qualifications

  • Experience across cross-platform mobile and SDK development — iOS, Android, and Unity — including dependency resolution and wrapping native code and binaries inside Unity.
  • Strong architectural background in modular Unity SDK design: dependency injection, bridging native iOS/Android SDKs into Unity through C/C++, and building Unity Editor tooling.
  • Proficiency in C#, Kotlin, Swift, and Objective-C++.
  • A track record publishing and maintaining open source software, with working knowledge of licensing and distribution through NPM, NuGet, and Unity Package Manager.
  • Working knowledge of privacy and consent frameworks used in ad tech — GDPR, CCPA, TCF, GPP, COPPA, CMPs, and App Tracking Transparency.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with ad tech industry practices and client-server architecture patterns.
  • Experience with CI/CD and build tooling such as GitHub Actions, Fastlane, Gradle, or Bazel.
  • Comfort using agentic coding assistants, such as Claude Code, as part of a development workflow.
  • Experience with mobile test automation tools such as Maestro, BrowserStack, or TestRail.

Benefits

  • Remote working
  • Self-managed vacation (no maximum)
  • 1 month work-from-anywhere
  • Healthcare
  • 401k
  • Summer Fridays
  • LoopMe Gives Back
  • Learning & development support
