[Hiring] Functional Solution Architect @Syntax

Role Description

Design, develop, and deliver end-to-end business intelligence solutions using SAP BW/4HANA, native HANA, and SAP Analytics Cloud.

• Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Translate requirements into technical plans and align with BSA and project management teams on timing, resources, and scope of the deliverable.
• User acceptance testing, performance testing, security testing (including documenting the results) and enhancement requests with high criticality.
• Assist with development of analytic reporting, BI tools, dashboards, and data modeling.
• Pursue problems and resolve technical issues. Debug, fine-tune, and optimize report performance.
• Work closely with BSAs (Business System Analysts) and Business Owners to analyze business problems and provide solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of development experience in SAP HANA and BW4/HANA solution delivery.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business.
• Hands-on experience working with SAP HANA and BW/4HANA features including custom SAP BW Extractors, complex transformations using ABAP, advanced DSOs, composite providers, exposing BW models as HANA views, mixed scenarios.
• Hands-on experience with native SAP HANA and BW/4HANA data modeling views (Attribute, Analytics and Calculation views) with graphical and SQL scripting.
• Ability to build and support back-end security models to safeguard business-critical sensitive data.
• Proficient in the use of SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office to perform custom calculations, filtering, and sorts to support complex business reporting scenarios.
