Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior iOS Developer to build high-quality, scalable, and secure iOS applications. You will design application architecture, deliver new features, improve performance, and mentor engineers while working closely with product, design, backend, and Android teams.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in native iOS development and modern Swift-based architecture, and thrives in a fast-paced, product-focused environment with a strong sense of ownership.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native iOS applications.
• Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Write clean, testable, and reusable code that follows engineering best practices.
• Optimize performance, memory usage, launch time, and battery consumption.
• Ensure stability through unit testing, UI testing, and code reviews.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and collaborate with backend teams on API design.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, QA, and Android teams.
• Mentor junior developers and help establish engineering standards.
• Participate in Agile processes and continuous delivery practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Proven track record of shipping and maintaining apps at scale on the App Store.
• Experience owning features from design through production release.

Requirements

• Swift (strong proficiency).
• Objective-C (working knowledge).
• Familiarity with Kotlin and Android development concepts.
• iOS SDK and core Apple frameworks.
• App and scene lifecycle, view controller lifecycle.
• Background tasks, push and local notifications.
• App Extensions (widgets, share extensions).
• Modern iOS Development: SwiftUI and UIKit, Swift Concurrency (async/await, actors, structured concurrency), Combine and the Observation framework, GCD and OperationQueue, Navigation patterns (NavigationStack, Coordinators), Dependency injection, Swift Package Manager.
• Architecture and System Design: MVVM, MVI, or The Composable Architecture (TCA), Clean Architecture and modular architecture, SOLID principles and separation of concerns, Designing scalable mobile architectures and evaluating trade-offs.
• Networking: REST APIs, URLSession, and Codable, Authentication flows, Error handling and network caching.
• Performance: UI rendering performance and main thread hang prevention, Memory management (ARC, retain cycles, leak detection), Launch time and battery optimization, Profiling and debugging with Instruments.
• Testing: Unit testing with XCTest and Swift Testing, UI testing with XCUITest, Snapshot and integration testing, Test-Driven Development (TDD) and mocking.
• Development Practices: Git, pull request workflows, and code reviews, CI-friendly development, App Store submission and release management, Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• CI/CD pipelines (Xcode Cloud, Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise).
• Analytics platforms (Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, CleverTap).
• A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and feature flags.
• Mobile security best practices, including Keychain, Data Protection, SSL pinning, biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID), secure handling of sensitive data, and jailbreak detection.
