Role Description

This role involves web development and collaboration with various teams to ensure effective communication and website performance.

Collaborate effectively with IT Web Services and Communications Division
Act as a liaison between the Communications Division and IT Web Services team
Translate technical requirements into functional communication strategies
Ensure smooth transition of web content and functionality
Optimize website performance for speed, reliability, and scalability
Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA and other relevant accessibility standards
Provide accessibility assistance and support for various digital formats
Administer and update website content through Drupal CMS
Maintain consistency and accuracy across all related sites
Implement best practices for content creation, navigation, governance, and quality control
Plan and execute multiple related website migrations
Monitor and troubleshoot issues during the migration process
Ensure content is current, functional, accessible, and user-friendly
Coordinate and assist with the implementation of new content and updates
Provide support and guidance to content contributors
Ensure consistent use of the CMS and adherence to web content standards and policies
Test code, designs, and content for validity and compatibility
Monitor website analytics and performance metrics
Implement best practices for website performance, security, and SEO
Prepare graphics, text, and tables for web content
Determine the size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy
Ensure PDF accessibility and other related tasks
