Role Description
We are looking for a skilled and visionary Tech Lead to guide and elevate our engineering team. This role is pivotal to Luxehouze’s eCommerce platform, blending strong technical expertise in both front-end and back-end development with leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing teams, architecting scalable solutions, and delivering impactful results in fast-paced environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative and reliable solutions that enhance customer experience and support business growth.
- Lead and manage a team of front-end and back-end engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions for Luxehouze’s platform.
- Drive technical direction and architecture decisions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical plans.
- Oversee the development and integration of front-end technologies (Svelte.js, Vercel) and back-end systems (MongoDB, Shopify APIs).
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, mentoring, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal performance and system reliability.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance the platform.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience in software development, with experience in a leadership role.
- Expertise in front-end technologies like Svelte.js, Vercel, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Proficiency in back-end technologies, including MongoDB, Node.js, and API integration with Shopify.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Proven experience mentoring and managing engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
