Role Description
This role involves developing and maintaining APIs and services to ensure optimal content delivery and enhancing the front-end experience for users.
- Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to implement solutions.
- Improve the experience for millions of consumers discovering live events.
Qualifications
- 2-4+ years of experience building applications at scale in at least one popular programming language (e.g., Python, Java, PHP, Ruby, C#, C++).
- 2+ years of experience using web frameworks (e.g., Django, Symphony, Rails, ASP.net).
- Knowledge of microservices and/or Service Oriented Architecture.
- Efficient and practical programming skills with a focus on dependable code.
- Commitment to maintainable and well-tested code.
- Holistic approach to quality.
- Results-driven self-starter with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with CICD tools and processes.
Requirements
- Experience working with Search Engines (e.g., OpenSearch, ElasticSearch, Solr) is a plus.
- Experience with React/React Native is a plus.
- Experience with Infrastructure As Code, leveraging AWS technologies (e.g., Lambdas, ECS, Fargate, API Gateway, Docker, Kinesis) is a plus.
