Role Description

As the Brand Director at BetterHelp, you’ll join a diverse team of licensed clinicians, engineers, product pros, creatives, marketers, and business leaders who share a passion for expanding access to therapy. In this role, you will develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy that drives brand affinity, engagement, and loyalty.

  • Develop and implement a compelling brand strategy that aligns with company goals and consumer needs.
  • Oversee integrated campaigns that span digital, offline and experiential.
  • Supercharge our organic social strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, content, design, and partnerships) to ensure brand alignment across all communications.
  • Conduct market research and analyze consumer insights to refine brand strategy and positioning.
  • Build and manage a high-performing brand team, fostering innovation and creativity.
  • Monitor brand performance through key metrics and analytics, optimizing campaigns for engagement and conversion.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging opportunities in mental health and wellness.
  • Champion brand storytelling to create authentic, emotionally resonant narratives that drive community engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in international marketing, growth marketing, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling marketing campaigns across multiple global markets.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, optimize campaigns, and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, and localization strategies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across cultures.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed.
  • Ability to work in the US, to travel to our Mountain View, California offices up to three times per year and to an additional company offsite.

Benefits

  • The base salary range for this position is $215,000 - $225,000.
  • This position is eligible for a performance bonus and the extensive benefits listed here (subject to eligibility requirements).
