Role Description
We are hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will work across front-end, middle-tier, and back-end technologies to build, enhance, and integrate healthcare applications that improve provider efficiency and patient care.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the OSCAR Pro EMR platform
- Ensure solutions are scalable, high-performance, and compliant with healthcare standards
- Conduct active code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Maintain development best practices and drive architectural decisions
This is a remote opportunity, with hybrid options available in Vancouver and Toronto if desired.
Qualifications
- Deep expertise in software architecture, system scalability, and healthcare technologies
- Strong ability to navigate and enhance legacy systems while building modern applications
- Experience across the entire technology stack—from infrastructure to application to tooling
- Passionate about solving meaningful problems and committed to improving patient outcomes
Requirements
- Strong front-end development skills using React, Angular
- Backend technologies such as Java or Kotlin, Spring, Hibernate, and Node.js
- Highly proficient in SQL query optimization
- Experience with Microsoft Azure
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (OAuth 2.0, OpenID, SAML, SSO, JWT)
- Experience with healthcare technology integrations and tools, including FHIR, HL7
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and GitOps
