Role Description
You will be working alongside a skilled Data Science team dedicated to managing and processing financial data from various third-party sources. Your role will be crucial in ensuring accurate and timely data imports to support key business decisions.
- Import financial data into Snowflake from multiple sources, ensuring it adheres to predefined formats.
- Refine and structure the data to meet specific requirements.
- Conduct preliminary checks to verify data integrity, completeness, and financial plausibility.
- Contribute to data pipeline-related tasks and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with the team to optimize data workflows.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices to improve processes.
- Work 100% remotely if living in LATAM or join at the office.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong SQL skills with experience in data transformation and manipulation.
- Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and pipeline development.
- Experience with Snowflake and data ingestion best practices.
- Familiarity with data extraction from multiple sources.
- Ability to standardize and format data according to predefined specifications.
- Basic understanding of financial concepts to perform high-level validation checks.
- Experience in data engineering and pipeline development.
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and optimize data ingestion processes.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication with the team.
- At least 5+ years of experience in similar roles.
