Role Description
We are seeking an engineer experienced in designing and implementing robust systems to ingest diverse, complex data types into large-scale knowledge graphs, who will play a key role in shaping and creating the product, which at its core aims to empower individuals through thoughtful collaboration with intelligent technology.
- Design and develop the ingestion, processing and application of algorithms for user data to build models of user behavior and preferences for large knowledge graphs
- Design efficient implementations utilizing graph query languages to drive valuable and actionable insights and data retrieval
- Collaborate with a team of designers, researchers and other stakeholders to implement the knowledge graph components required to deliver product features
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security concerns, and other technical challenges
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in usage of AI/ML integration with knowledge graphs
Qualifications
- Proven experience with knowledge graphs and algorithms
- Strong experience in using knowledge graphs for user modeling and data ingestion from disparate data sources
- Implementation experience with databases technologies such as PostgreSQL
- Experience with graph query languages like GraphQL
- Strong communication skills; must be able to effectively and clearly communicate vision and objectives with the team and stakeholders
- Strategic thinker with the demonstrated ability to align design goals with key objectives and priorities
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with systems and graph algorithms
- Startup experience is a plus
