Role Description

This role involves leading the frontend team to scale and optimize our cannabis retail platform.

Address complex architectural decisions and technical debt.
Provide guidance on the selection of appropriate technologies and frameworks.
Document coding standards, guidelines, and best practices.
Stay updated with the latest frontend technologies, trends, and industry best practices.
Lead code review processes to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to unblock the team and ensure quality standards are met.
Participate in the development of frontend features and functionalities.
Collaborate with the team to design and implement new user interface components.
Identify bottlenecks or external dependencies.
Navigating communication and collaboration issues within the team and with other departments.
Determine and manage priorities, deadlines for different work streams.
Identify opportunities to improve team processes, efficiency, and quality.
Design and continuously improve the onboarding process for new team members.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
