Role Description
The Software Engineer-Level III is responsible for design, construction and unit testing of assigned components/modules. The candidate will collaborate with Business Analysts and SMEs to perform detailed requirement analysis. The candidate will provide production implementation and post-production support and be part of the US IT team.
- Provide expertise in design, development and implementation of PowerBI reports
- Design, model and develop BI reporting and analysis applications
- Provide functional and technical guidance to business teams when needed
- Conduct meetings with business users to determine project requirements and milestones
- Develop knowledge on business intelligence skills and processes
- Develop best practices to achieve project objectives and deliverables
- Develop positive working relationship with business users and other department staff
- Stay updated with ongoing business development tools
- Responsible for any other ad hoc duties assigned
Qualifications
- Solid working experience in PowerBI development best practices, performance optimization, system tuning and design, and support
- Strong working experience in Data Warehouse, Data Modelling and Data Visualization on Microsoft Technologies
- Strong proficiency in SQL with proven ability to write complex freehand SQL including sub-queries, nested queries and other advanced SQL features
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, presentation, and time management skills
- Great communicator, negotiator, and team player
- A desire to thrive in a hard-working, fast-paced and collaborative team

- Data Visualization tools - Proficiency Level: 3 (Required)
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005+ - Proficiency Level: 4 (Required)
- Atlassian Jira - Proficiency Level: 2 (Required)
- Snowflake - Proficiency Level: 1 (Optional)
