Role Description
This role involves leading environmental review, permitting, and delivery of water, port, energy, and transportation infrastructure projects throughout Texas.
- Help clients solve their toughest challenges, focusing on delivering exceptional work.
- Lead interdisciplinary teams to advance sustainable, efficient, and lasting infrastructure solutions.
- Collaborate with clients and industry experts to develop innovative solutions.
- Navigate changes in NEPA and permitting compliance.
- Guide the delivery of planning studies, environmental analyses, technical studies, permits, economic analysis, and funding strategies.
- Effectively communicate with clients, agencies, and project technical experts.
- Apply expert project management skills to ensure project success.
- Play a key role in building infrastructure delivery teams.
- Leverage curiosity and agility to tackle today’s challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Policy and Planning, Environmental Sciences, Biology/Marine Sciences, or other related fields.
- 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting or applicable fields.
- Strong knowledge of applicable environmental consulting practices and environmental laws.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Requirements
- Experience managing or conducting studies for infrastructure projects in Texas.
- Experience preparing NEPA documentation and knowledge of NEPA processes.
- Experience with federal, state, and local regulations and resource agencies.
- Experience with common project management tools, systems, and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and train technical specialists.
- Strong technical writing skills and ability to conduct QA/QC reviews of deliverables.
