Role Description
This role involves building cross-platform security monitoring desktop applications and their backend infrastructure.
- Pioneer building next generation security monitoring desktop apps from scratch
- Own cross-platform desktop app development for Windows, macOS, Linux in Go and TypeScript
- Shape the product roadmap alongside the CTO and Tech Lead
- Quickly learn and become the expert in all-things-MDM and operating systems
- Tackle deep technical OS-level troubleshooting for device management
- Collaborate across teams with product managers, designers, and other engineers
- Occasionally contribute to a React UI or wrap apps in Electron or Tauri
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in Backend Engineering through first full-time job and internships
- Solid foundation in programming with Go
- First professional production experience in Go, TypeScript, and SQL with demonstrated ownership
- Familiarity with 3rd-party APIs and interest in learning monitoring and troubleshooting
- 0.5-1 year of software engineering experience in top tier tech companies or VC-funded startups
- Willingness to take ownership of tasks, collaborate, and adapt to feedback

- Ability to learn new things quickly and apply them to ship real solutions end-to-end
- Enjoy digging into OS-level details
- Great written and oral communication skills, especially in English
- Strong engineering fundamentals and efficient coding skills
- Thrive with autonomy and project management of own work
- Comfortable collaborating in a remote environment
