As Northern's Adobe Analytics Senior Developer with a strategic focus on Adobe Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic implementation of Adobe Experience Cloud solutions, helping clients harness the full potential of their analytics and customer journey data. You will implement end-to-end projects and ensure actionable insights are derived to help businesses optimize customer experiences and achieve their goals.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop robust Adobe Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics implementations tailored to client business objectives and customer experience strategies.
- Develop scalable analytics frameworks, including solution design reference documentation (SDR), variable mappings, and detailed tracking plans across both Adobe Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics platforms.
- Develop and configure cross-channel tracking and customer journey mapping to ensure seamless insights from acquisition to conversion.
- Develop the integration and configuration of data collection strategies for both Adobe Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics, ensuring accurate tracking of customer interactions across digital touchpoints.
- Provide expert guidance and implement Adobe Launch (or other tag management systems) for efficient and scalable tag implementation.
- Integrate Adobe Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics with other Adobe Experience Cloud products (e.g., Adobe Target, Audience Manager, Campaign), third-party platforms, and CRM systems.
- Enable customer data activation, including audience segmentation, personalization, and journey-based attribution modeling, to optimize marketing and customer engagement efforts.
- Audit and assess existing implementations of both Adobe Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics to identify and resolve data gaps or inefficiencies.
- Optimize reporting structures, dashboards, and data flows to enhance decision-making capabilities and provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, IT, and data teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs), goals, and tracking requirements across both Adobe Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics.
- Provide hands-on training, mentorship, and workshops to clients and internal teams on best practices for Adobe Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive documentation to support the adoption and effective use of both analytics platforms across teams.
Knowledge, Education & Experience Required
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics (Experience Cloud).
- Adobe certification in Analytics or Customer Journey Analytics as a developer / architect (required)
- Expertise in Adobe Analytics Workspace, segmentation, calculated metrics, reporting, and Customer Journey Analytics features, including journey mapping, visualization, and event-based tracking.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for custom tracking and tagging implementations.
- Experience with Adobe Launch (or other tag management systems) for scalable and efficient tag deployment.
- In-depth knowledge of web analytics concepts, data collection strategies, attribution modeling, and customer journey analysis.
- Ability to translate business objectives into measurable KPIs and custom reporting frameworks using both Adobe Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics.
- Proven track record of troubleshooting and resolving data discrepancies, optimizing data flows, and implementing scalable solutions to improve analytics infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
Bonus
- Experience with other Adobe Experience Cloud products (e.g., Adobe Target, Audience Manager, Adobe Campaign).
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on analytics and customer journey tracking.
- Familiarity with other analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI) and best practices for data visualization.
