Role Description
The Head of Technology is responsible for creating Definiti’s technology strategy and supporting infrastructure in a nimble and high growth environment. This position reports to the CEO and is an active member of the Executive Committee.
- Defines and oversees automation development, leveraging tools and vendors to implement automation within the company.
- Partners with leaders throughout the company to identify opportunities and implement solutions.
- Leads a team to support execution, manages production support, and leverages outsource partners to ensure an efficient cost structure and highest quality outcomes for the company’s remote workforce.
- Supports data governance, business continuity, and IT admin activities as necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience leading IT teams with a strategic and hands-on approach for 300+ users
- 10+ years of IT leadership experience, with a strong focus on enterprise applications, infrastructure, and security
- Proven track record of managing third-party applications and cloud-based technology stacks
- Expertise in IT governance, cybersecurity, vendor management, and enterprise architecture
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (SOC 2, GDPR, etc.)
- Ability to travel up to 10%
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Eager to engage with clients and partners, and comfortable communicating technical issues and resolution status with non-technical individuals
- Experience managing technology budgets, including IT projects
