Role Description
This role involves building software that enables the team to address critical business challenges effectively.
- Join a pod consisting of seasoned business owners paired with product teams.
- Take complete ownership over a domain to deliver impactful features weekly.
- Architect and build end-to-end data and workflow orchestration solutions.
- Design and implement robust data pipelines for large, diverse data sets.
- Define, build, and maintain canonical metrics stores for performance standardization.
- Develop integrations with third-party data service APIs (e.g., Stripe, Brex, Pipefy).
- Leverage machine learning and deep learning techniques for insights and predictions.
- Champion best practices for data engineering, including governance and security.
- Stay updated on AI/ML trends and research new algorithms and frameworks.
- Own the end-to-end ML lifecycle, ensuring models remain accurate and performant.
- Analyze system efficiency and performance for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate on scoping and prioritizing the roadmap for workflow improvements.
Qualifications
- Experience building end-to-end data solutions that drive real-world processes and results.
- Strong expertise in Python, SQL, DBT, Snowflake, and ETL tools such as Fivetran.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming.
- Knowledge of AWS and cloud-based services.
- Strong product sensibilities to build user-friendly experiences.
- AI-first sensibilities.
- Entrepreneurial experience preferred.
- Working timezone overlaps at least 5 working hours with US Eastern.
