Role Description
The response to the Chamber has driven the opportunity to bring an experienced sales leader in to bring the sales team to the next level. We have a small, capable sales team carrying a large and growing book of commercial accounts across Performance, Hospitality, Wellness, Private Clubs, and Residential.
The VP of Sales exists to manage the sales organization end to end. This person will own day-to-day sales leadership and build a repeatable system:
-
A defined sales process
-
Accurate pipeline data
-
Clear rep accountability
-
A hiring plan that scales the team as production scales
This person will be a player-coach at first, carrying strategic deals personally while building upon the sales organization. This is a role with a designed growth path, looking for someone who wants to learn the sales organization first, then grow into broader commercial leadership as the business grows.
Responsibilities
-
Own the Sales Goals: Carry the company revenue target. Set and manage quotas, territory and vertical coverage, and the operating cadence that gets the team to plan every month and every quarter.
-
Lead, Coach, and Develop the Sales Team: Take over day-to-day management of the existing sales team. Run weekly 1:1s, deal coaching, and call reviews. Raise the baseline for the sales team.
-
Build the Repeatable Sales Motion: Turn how we sell today into a documented, teachable playbook β discovery, qualification, demo and Chamber experience, pricing conversation, objection handling, and close. Operationalize our account tiering model so effort matches account value.
-
Own Forecasting and Pipeline Integrity: Work with our VP of Commercial Ops to deliver a forecast leadership can plan production and cash against.
-
Set Vertical Strategy and Prioritization: Decide where the team spends its time across Performance, Hospitality, Wellness, Private Clubs, and Residential. Concentrate effort on the verticals that compound.
-
Scale the Team: Build the sales hiring plan alongside Finance and People. Interview, onboard, and ramp new reps against a defined ramp curve, and add vertical or segment leadership when volume justifies it.
-
Partner Across the Company: Work with Marketing on demand and messaging, with Partner Success on a clean post-sale handoff, and with Operations and Supply Chain so that what we sell matches what we can build and install.
Qualifications
