[Hiring] Territory Sales Manager @Keenfinity

Role Description

The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) is responsible for owning all sales activity within an assigned geographic footprint, including:

• New business development
• Existing customer growth
• Channel expansion

This role serves as the primary point of accountability for driving both run-rate business and larger project opportunities within the territory.

The TSM must balance aggressive hunting for new opportunities with disciplined coverage of existing customers, distributors, and integrators. Key responsibilities include:

• Owning all sales activity within assigned territory
• Supporting representative firms through regular communication, business planning, sales coaching, and pipeline reviews
• Maintaining active participation in organizations such as CANASA, ASIS, BOMA, IFMA, and other relevant industry groups
• Actively hunting for new opportunities while maintaining consistent focus on run-rate and small-to-mid-sized projects
• Developing and expanding relationships with end users, systems integrators, distributors, and architects, engineers & consultants (ACE) within the territory
• Identifying, qualifying, and driving complex video security opportunities involving multiple stakeholders
• Executing against vertical targets assigned by Vertical Sales Managers and providing regular updates on project progression
• Maintaining disciplined opportunity management and providing timely status updates using approved sales tools (e.g., Blue Sheets)
• Collaborating closely with Regional Directors and Vertical Sales Managers to align territory execution with vertical strategy
• Traveling within the territory (50-70%) as needed to support customer meetings, partner engagement, and key opportunities

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required; a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or technical discipline is preferred
• 5 years of industry experience, preferably with a manufacturer, is required
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications
• Industry affiliations and certification a plus
• Strong communication skills, solid industry and product-specific knowledge, plus the ability to successfully generate and close business
• Industry certifications or involvement with organizations such as CANASA, ASIS, BOMA, IFMA, or equivalent associations preferred
• French language proficiency is considered an asset but is not required for the position
• Requires 50-70% travel and requires that the individual reside within the district they represent
• Must reside in Canada and be legally eligible to work

Benefits

• The Canada-based salary range for this full-time role is $85,000-$90,000 CAD annually
• This role is also eligible for commission
