Role Description

The Territory Sales Lead is a full-time remote role responsible for driving sales growth and market development within an assigned geographic territory. This role focuses on:

• Identifying and developing new business opportunities
• Managing existing accounts
• Promoting HGS BioScience™ products to distributors, retailers, and growers

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Conducting virtual and in-person customer meetings
• Delivering product presentations
• Supporting field trials and demonstrations
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely product delivery and support
• Monitoring territory performance
• Preparing sales forecasts and reports
• Maintaining accurate customer and opportunity records in the CRM system

This position emphasizes:

• Building long-term relationships
• Providing consultative support on soil health solutions
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Strong Sales and Sales Operations skills, with experience managing a territory, pipeline, and sales reporting
• Excellent Communication and Relationship Building abilities to engage diverse stakeholders and maintain long-term partnerships
• Proven focus on Customer Satisfaction, with a consultative approach to understanding customer needs and delivering solutions
• Background in agriculture, agronomy, crop science, or related field is highly beneficial
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage travel within the territory, and prioritize multiple opportunities
• Proficiency with CRM systems and basic business productivity tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, email platforms)
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed within the territory
