Role Description
Riverbed is seeking a seasoned Solutions Engineer to support some of our largest and most strategic enterprise customers, with a focus on Digital Employee Experience (DEX) and Unified Observability.
In this role, youβll partner closely with your sales counterpart to jointly own account strategy and drive the technical sales process from discovery through technical close. Youβll serve as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them solve complex challenges across employee experience, applications, endpoints, networks, and increasingly distributed IT environments.
What you will do:
-
Jointly own strategic enterprise accounts with your sales counterpart, developing account strategy, identifying opportunities, engaging key stakeholders, and driving complex sales cycles forward.
-
Lead the technical sales process from discovery through technical close, including technical presentations, demonstrations, architecture discussions, workshops, and proof-of-concept/proof-of-value engagements.
-
Serve as a trusted advisor on DEX and Unified Observability, helping customers improve visibility and performance across endpoints, applications, networks, and hybrid environments.
-
Translate technical challenges into measurable business value, connecting Riverbed solutions to priorities such as employee productivity, application performance, service desk efficiency, operational effectiveness, and digital experience.
-
Expand Riverbed's presence within large enterprise accounts by identifying new use cases, technical champions, executive sponsors, business units, and opportunities to broaden adoption.
-
Navigate complex and competitive enterprise opportunities, partnering with Sales, Product, Professional Services, Channel, and other technical resources to develop differentiated solutions and drive successful customer outcomes.
Qualifications
-
Experienced enterprise Solutions Engineer with a strong track record in technical pre-sales supporting large, complex enterprise or strategic accounts.
-
Deep knowledge of Digital Employee Experience (DEX), End User Experience Monitoring (EUEM), Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM), or closely related technologies.

-
Broad technical understanding across adjacent areas such as endpoint/EUC technologies, application performance, observability, networking, cloud infrastructure, IT Operations, and ITSM/Service Desk environments.
-
